WIFI WIFI Everywhere and Not a Drop to Drink
On an extremely compressed time-table we were able to setup a security camera and 5 Cisco WAPs so the IT team could come in behind us.
A tenant was moving into an office and they needed some telco work completed before the setup team arrived. We were able to turn around a quote the next day, order material, and rearrange our schedule to complete the job. It was completed in under a week and in time for the setup team.
We ran plenum rated CAT 6 from the patch panel to a security camera and 5 WIFI access points (WAPs). We terminated and tested the cables and made sure to label everything: hardware, cables, and ports. To add a cherry on top, we sent a complete roll-up of our work to the IT team so they knew what they were dealing with on Monday morning.
Every project has a challenge or two. The challenge can be the size of the project, a technical challenge, or simply the weather, just to list a few examples. This project's challenge was the timeline. However, this client is a great customer that we work with frequently, so we worked to make it happen.
